- Originally it was suppose to be a tournament
with 6 teams, playing in two groups of 3 each, with the winners
and
runners up advancing into the semifinals. Since Palestine wanted
to send a club team, it was decided to not allow them to play
and make a new draw with only five teams.
-- Sri Lanka vs. Lebanon on the 21st August postponed by
one day due to heavy rains that lashed the city made Ambedkar
Stadium pitch unplayable All matches after that are also moved
forward
by one day, so that India vs. Kyrgyzstan will play on the 23rd
August and all the games will end on the 29th instead of the
28th. Exept the final that will be still played on the 31st August
2009. |
